Internship information and application


UCSB Women's Volleyball Program Intern (1-2 units)

Gain experience with running a D1 volleyball program

Duties include:

  • submitting reimbursements for travel and meal costs
  • creating and organizing materials related to study hall,
  • timestamping recruit videos
  • setting up home meals

Commitment is 3-6  hours in the office, and possible work in the gym if interested

Dos Pueblos High School Cross Country & Track Intern

(2-4 units)

Gain experience coaching and training high school athletes (Open to personal training and health & wellness students)

Duties include:

  • plan injury prevention program
  • assist coaches in training and practices
  • lead core and strength training for athletes

Commitment is between 2:00 and 4:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays or Thursdays at Dos Pueblos High School

The mission of the Exercise & Sport Studies Department is to provide innovative, scientifically based knowledge that enables students to model healthy lifestyles, to prepare for advanced study and to be future leaders in the disciplines of health, wellness and sport.  The department is committed to maintaining a student-centered approach to undergraduate education that continuously blends theory and application.
